That is correct!! And this one is super easy and basic to learn. I think I taught myself to use it in under 15 minutes.

The best part about this software? You can upload images and turn them into cross-stitch patterns very quickly!

Disclaimer: you will still need to edit the pattern, but you can do it easily using FlossCross tools. Just know this is not a one-and-done click type of software!

A Paid Software that I have been using is called MacStitch/WinStitch. I will demonstrate this software in the future of this series. Some of the fundamental highlights I enjoy about this paid version over the FlossCross are the ability to change thread brands and different exporting options of the file (outside the typical PDF)

FlossCross has some AWESOME exporting capabilities! I was highly impressed with the ability to change the title of the PDF, update the floss chart (thread), and even copyright the brand on every page of the PDF.

You can’t go wrong with these easy and basic features!
